As we mentioned last week, our most viewed page is the directory. It houses all the schools and all the agents that are members of Schools & Agents. This week we are going to delve deeper on this topic and how to make better use of the directory page and all the functions that it offers.

1. The Sorting Style

This is a fairly simple option, you can sort your results in alphabetical order either from A to Z or  from Z to A, adjust the option to your preference.

2. Filter by Country and/or City

In the filter box on the right hand side (as mentioned last week), there is a drop down list for all the countries in the world, the default option is ‘All Countries’ but you can pick and choose the country you wish to focus on. The filter option allows you to narrow your search further, right underneath the country field, you have a city field, instead of a dropdown list this time you can type in the name of a city and once you hit enter the list will populate all those members that are situated in that city. This is especially useful if you are after agents, and while you already have agents in certain cities within a country that have exclusivity you may want to explore other cities for more.

3. The Search Function

The ‘Search’ bar allows you to type in a word or phrase that you are looking for. If you already have an inkling to what you are after simply type in the phrase and hit enter, and the list will populate all related members. For example, if you are an agent who works closely with Interntional House Schools, simply type in ‘International House’ hit enter and you will see a list of IH schools that are members of Schools & Agents.

4. The All-Filters Option

Last but not least in our filter box option is the All-Filters section, a new addition to our directory this allows you to narrow your search by courses and areas of specialization of our member schools and agents. This means that if you are looking for an agent in Madrid, Spain who specialises in Summer Camps, all you need to do is, choose Agents and Spain from the drop down list, type in Madrid and then choose Summer Camps from the ‘All Filters’ list, hit entered and all related listings show up.

We have designed our Directory Page in this manner so as to make searching for the right partners much easier for our member schools and agents.
